Angus and Julia, born and raised on Sydney’s Northern Beaches, grew up around musical talent, their parents, who taught them music at home, used to have their own folk band.
Holding similarities to Laura Marling and Björk, Carina’s hooking voice is haunting and stays with you long after listening. Her European sounding track is easy-listening and draws upon early alternative-rock tracks from the 90’s. Round is an extremely talented artist, holding qualities within her voice that strengthen her overall performance. Having the ability to perform as professionally and enchantingly as she does gives her a beautiful uniqueness and ensures her a lengthy success.
This self curated collection from Wolverhampton born Carina Round, brings together, for the first time, material spanning from 2001 to 2015 taken from her first four critically acclaimed albums: ‘The First Blood Mystery’, ‘The Disconnection’, ‘Slow Motion Addict’, ‘Tigermending’, as well as the EP ‘Things You Should Know’, home to the included track ‘For Everything a Reason’ which featured on the TV series ’American Horror Story: Murder House’.
Beautifully packaged, with career spanning imagery by acclaimed photographers and a complete set of lyrics selected and compiled by Carina, ‘Deranged to Divine’ is a terrific addition to anyone’s record collection, and an essential one to any fan of Carina Round.

“The instrumentation and arrangements on the album are sophisticated and provide the perfect complement to Camilla’s clever lyrics and her sometimes poignant, sometimes powerful vocal delivery.” – Nick Dent Robinson
Championing a raw and genuine style of songwriting, her music explores a mix of environmental, personal and political themes rarely encountered in today’s modern rock landscape.
A big supporter of local music scenes, Karmilla is known for her love of playing local gigs and festivals. She is all about the music, believing there is always a connectivity to the people who are part of it and the people who listen to it.
Already she has supported the likes of Frank Turner, playing a family run festival at the musician’s home village in 2015. Upcoming gigs include an acoustic set at Dam Fine Affair festival in Wiltshire on June 18th and another at Readipop Festival in Reading on July 8th.
‘Leave Me To Me’ and Early Workings Of An Open Mind out now!
‘This band has undeniable chemistry!’ – IndieBerlin
Norwegian indie band KMF (Kakkmaddafakka) spearhead their own unique effervescent sound on this summery single ‘Young You’.
The song is a feelgood blend of groovy bass, bouncy pianos and breezy reverb-soaked vocals. You can feel the warm rays of the sun on your face whilst listening to it.

The band hail from the beautiful city of Bergen, where they have grown from a small local group to an internationally recognised act. Their Facebook band page currently has over 150, 000 likes.
Having toured all over the world, KMF regularly play to 5000 fans at their own club shows across the continent and have appeared at and headlined stages at renowned festivals such as Melt! Festival, the Montreux Jazz Festival, Arenal Sound in Spain and Hurricane Festival. With support constantly coming their way, they seem destined to continue onwards and upwards and are not likely to stop until their out the stratosphere.
The group proclaim themselves to be ‘sauna extremists’, having gone so far as to perform naked in a sauna once on Norwegian national news!
Amongst sauna-extremism, the band’s other hobbies include football, gaming and Djing (two of the members Axel and Pål run a popular club concept ‘Klubben’ and a hip hop night in Bergen – proof of a band with eclectic musical tastes).
On May 31st the band will be playing an exclusive UK show at the prestige O2 Academy Islington.
‘Young You’ is out May 13th and is set to appear on the group’s upcoming self-titled album KMF set for release June 3rd.
‘Kakkmaddafakka can get the muddy dance floors of the European festival circuit pumping – but they can prop you up against a tree to lounge in the midsummer sun, too.’
21-year-old Italian-born singer, Andrea Giovanni (photo credit: Barbara Gallozzi – Photo Studio Imag&vents), is set to release atmospheric new electropop song, ‘I’ll Take Care of Myself’, set to drop April 15th. Taking influence vocally from Sam Smith and Jess Glynne, the artist delivers a soaring vocal performance that has the potential to appeal both to underground fans and the masses. Marco Casaluce produces the instrumental, opening with brooding synth swells before erupting with some hard-hitting bass.
Raised in Rome, Andrea moved to the UK in 2013 to pursue his dreams as a singer. A sufferer of the rare skin condition vitiligo, Andrea was bullied in the youth for the affliction putting him in a very dark place. His strict Catholic upbringing also made it hard for him to openly come to terms with his bixesuality. Moving to the UK, he was able to finally find acceptance, learning to embrace them as strengths instead of weaknesses.
As he explains himself, ‘I started to see vitiligo as my edge and distinctive characteristic of my personality, a strength. I decided to show it in the covert art-work of the single, ‘taking care of myself’ means also the ability to transform what you’ve always considered weaknesses into beautiful strengths.’
Andrea also has an EP ‘Soultrip’ on the way scheduled for release in July.
Penny Mob ready to revitalise UK indie, starting with double A-side ‘Mr Generation’ and ‘War on the Streets’
Excellent twin release due to make an impact on May 2nd
London three piece with energy to burn, Penny Mob, are a band who feed off bands who’ve inspired them and the pure exuberance of youth. Likened to the greats of British Indie such as The Kinks, Oasis, Cast, The Clash, Arctic Monkeys, The Sex Pistols and more, they are very quickly winning fans in the music and entertainment industry.
When a band can count Amazing Radio tastemaker Jim Gellatly among their fans, then that’s a sign that they are onto a good thing. The momentum is only set to increase with the release of double A-side single ‘Mr Generation’ and ‘War on the Streets’.
There are further plans ahead to release an EP and singles in the spring and summer. In the meantime, the tracks below give a solid indication of the quality that will be on offer.

War on the Streets: https://soundcloud.com/pennymob/war-on-the-streets
The band are no strangers to the oddness of the entertainment industry. Bassist Matt has toured as a technician with several bands including Pete Doherty, The Rifles, Circa Waves and more. In addition, vocalist Jamie Quinn has also made a name for himself as a TV actor, with big roles in a number of well received TV dramas and comedies.
However, all three members of the band consider music their first love, and the band came together from a mutual desire to shake things up for UK music.
They formed one day watching the Brit awards, realizing together that music needed a “new, real, honest rock n roll band with balls”. No one who was inspiring them. They had found inspiration in previous generations but there is little around at present. From this epiphany was born Penny Mob – a band with the spirit of punk, but the sound of raw indie.
Happy to play anywhere, including impromptu gigs with unsuspecting staff, Penny Mob are building quite the reputation. This new double A-side will go a long way to cementing it further.
‘Mr Generation’ and ‘War on the Streets’ are released on May 2nd.
